More details of this accusation against Eddie "Piolin" Sotelo: 

That letter [a lawyer's letter obtained by the Times] also contains Cortez's claims about falsifying letters. According to Cortez, after the immigration reform drive fell well short of garnering the 1 million letters that Sotelo had pledged to deliver, Sotelo ordered his staffers to "clandestinely photocopy letters so that it would appear as if he had gathered 1 million signatures." Clayton writes that Cortez "initially refused but was told in no uncertain terms that the team needed to comply."
In June 2007, Sotelo traveled to Washington, D.C., to present the letters to a congressional delegation composed of Sens. Edward Kennedy, Mel Martinez, Robert Menendez and Arlen Specter, as well as members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Those "million signatures" seem to have been bad luck.
Since then, Kennedy has died, Mel Martinez has resigned his Senate seat to cash in as a lobbyist, Arlen Specter switched parties, was defeated in a primary, and died, and Robert Menendez narrowly escaped prosecution over his sexual conduct. And now El Piolin has lost his job!

LOS ANGELES — Spanish-language radio personality Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo’s mysterious departure from the airwaves last week came after a performer on his nationally syndicated program accused him of sexual harassment, according to documents obtained by The Times.
Alberto “Beto” Cortez, a writer, producer and performer on the popular “Piolin por la Manana” radio program, alleged that his boss Sotelo was “physically, sexually and emotionally harassing” him for a three-year period ending last January. The claim was made in an April 16 letter from Cortez attorney Robert R. Clayton to executives Roberto Llamas and Jose Valle of Univision Communications Inc., which broadcast and syndicated the show.
In addition to the claim of sexual harassment, Cortez alleged that Sotelo ordered members of his radio production team to falsify letters in support of a high-profile campaign for congressional immigration reform, an issue that Sotelo championed on his program.[Emphasis added]

El Piolin (the nickname means "Tweety Bird" in Mexican Spanish) has supporting amnesty for years, and we've got a lot of material on him. Last year, Brenda Walker wrote

When thousands of illegal aliens show up for May Day marches demanding amnesty, part of the organizing comes from Spanish radio and TV which urge unlawful foreigners to complain en masse. In Los Angeles, local Mexican radio guy Piolin is credited with turning out huge crowds of amnesty pests.

Piolin is reported to have "entered the US illegally on a forged green card," in 1986 and presumably was amnestied as a result of IRCA.

By Brenda Walker Senator Jeff Sessions has a long and illustrious history of detecting loopholes in amnesty bills and explaining away the falsehoods which are made to sound so appealing to the gullible press. Republican Senators are supposed to rubber stamp the upbeat talking points and not vote on the text of the bill.
One example of his expertise was on view Sunday during a liberal grilling by Bob Schieffer on CBS’ Face the Nation:

Sessions put out a press release on Friday to reveal the newest loopholes hidden in the new amendment that was supposed to improve security and enforcement. In addition, the Gang of Eight (plus new friends) has reiterated its bad faith by rewriting the entire bill and burying the new amendment throughout, rather than delivering it as a stand-alone item.

Shocking New Loopholes Snuck Into Amended Immigration Bill, June 21, 2013
WASHINGTON—U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, released the following statement about the Schumer-Corker-Hoeven Gang of Eight substitute amendment:
“When the Gang of Eight first introduced their plan, they made a series of promises about their proposal. Each of those was subsequently proven to be false. Today, the Schumer-Corker-Hoeven rescue amendment was dropped on the Senate floor. Members and staff have only until Monday afternoon to read through the 1,187 pages of this modified proposal. Already, in a short time, we have identified grave and deep flaws in the modified bill – both in terms of failure to live up to new promises made as well as some shocking changes that actually further weaken the underlying bill. The special interests who wrote these provisions know exactly what they do and designed them not to work – but I fear some of the Senators who sponsored this amendment have no idea they’re even there:
–The Schumer-Corker-Hoeven amendment doesn’t change the bill’s amnesty first framework. Instead it goes even further and creates an automatic amnesty for future illegal aliens. Section 2302 says if you overstay your visa in the future you can still apply for a green card and become a citizen. It is permanent lawlessness. Joined with existing language that restricts future enforcement, it guarantees unending illegal immigration.
–Contrary to their rhetoric there is no border surge. The Secretary doesn’t even have to start hiring new border patrol agents until 2017, and the amendment only gives her until 2021 to increase the number by 20,000. According to the National Association of Former Border Patrol Agents, this hiring process could take up to 20 years. Much like the 2006 law requiring a 700-mile border fence, it’s never going to be happen.
–To raise money, the amendment increases fees on visas for legal immigrants, but keeps the same low fees and fines for those applying for amnesty – favoring illegal over legal immigrants. Under the 2007 comprehensive immigration bill, amnesty applicants had to pay up to $8,000 – vastly more than the fines in the current plan which total only $2,000 and are subject to numerous waivers. The Gang has repeatedly claimed their bill is completely paid for by fees. However, under the Schumer-Corker-Hoeven amendment, the American taxpayers are on the hook for $38 billion.
These are undoubtedly only some of the new flaws that will be uncovered in the proposal. And the largely unchanged original bill retains its scores of many flaws including: amnesty first, legalization for criminal aliens, decimated interior enforcement, and a massive increase in low-skill legal immigration.
The Gang of Eight’s proposal – modified or not – still guarantees three things: amnesty, lower wages, and higher unemployment.”

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is feeling the heat as potential GOP allies are now turning against his immigration reform bill.
Republican colleagues who were previously viewed as possible “yes” votes are keeping their distance from the 1,075-page measure.
On Wednesday, conservative activists ripped Rubio and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) — both sponsors of the bipartisan immigration measure — at a Capitol Hill rally.
The crowd, which was protesting the bill’s effort to put millions of illegal immigrants on a path to citizenship, booed at the mention of Rubio’s name during the six-hour event.
The rally underscored the mounting opposition to the immigration reform bill among both grassroots conservatives and GOP senators.

Potential Senate Republican backing for the legislation has begun to evaporate because of deep skepticism over its border-security and enforcement provisions.
In recent weeks, senators on both sides of the aisle speculated that 70 members of the upper chamber might vote for the Senate bill. That tally is now seen as unattainable.
Republican Sens. Mitch McConnell (Ky.), Rand Paul (Ky.) and John Cornyn (Texas), who were once viewed as possible supporters of the bill, are now expected to reject it.

Of course, there's a certain amount of theater in this—these rats could have killed the bill at the cloture vote last Thursday—but it's a good sign.

Our Talk Radio Correspondent weighed in yesterday:

Friday, Laura Ingraham...said that she had heard the Zuckerberg immigration ads with Ryan and Rubio on "talk radio". She said that she didn't think they were running on her show and added: “I certainly hope they aren't”. She said she didn't want to make money that way. She said that immigration is by far the most important issue and that she is devoting more than 50% of her time to it. [In contrast, the Zuckerberg ads run at least twice an hour on the Limbaugh show, and I haven't heard him mention immigration since his return from vacation on Wednesday.]

Laura Ingraham – who has clearly emerged as the most important patriotic talk show host this Amnesty cycle - has raised the financial importance of the Zuckerberg Ad campaign before: Laura Ingraham: Zuckerberg Ad Revenue Silencing "Conservative" Talk Show Hosts. And I noted that Limbaugh had fallen silent before he went on vacation:  Has Rush Limbaugh Been Zuckerberged? May 24 2013.

But I believe Limbaugh is too strong financially to be much concerned about the Zuckerberg Ad revenues (although I hope he is charging these skunks a premium price). Furthermore he really understands this issue and can be excellent on it (if erratic).

I think the probability is that he is disgusted. Having taken a very brave stand - Cabal of Leftists and RINOs Attempt to Destroy Heritage Scholar Jason Richwine rushlimbaugh.com May 10, 2013 – he was hung out to dry by the cowardice of the Heritage Foundation and Jim DeMint.

And of course there are so many exciting scandals to discuss. There was a brief moment on Thursday when he curiously shied away from an articulate Amnesty caller: Why Illegals Want Citizenship RushLimbaugh.com June 06, 2013. To his credit he came back after the break he had abruptly declared to accurately say

…why would illegals want to become citizens?  It's called chain immigration.  They can bring in all their relatives without having to pay to have 'em snuck across the border.  They can increase their demands.

However he also said

I didn't get a chance to talk about Rubio may be pulling out of the Gang of Eight.  Not sure if that's true but we'll talk about it tomorrow.

which he did not.

All of us feel disgusted at this process. I hope Rush Limbaugh masters his feelings.

His country needs him.

In the opinion of our Talk Radio correspondent, Laura Ingraham has emerged as the Patriotic leader in this venue on the Amnesty/Immigration Acceleration Bill.

Today she said the unsayable. Our man’s version

Laura Ingraham: Certain people are bought and paid for. And I would submit that applies to media figures as well.... This [Zuckerberg ad] is playing on a conservative radio show? How much are they dropping on conservative radio shows.... Some of the conservative radio folks have clammed up. Where are they?

Huge money is being spent repeatedly broadcasting the Zuckerberg/Rubio lies. The IRS commotion gives the suspects an easy excuse. Any alleged conservative host running this propaganda and avoiding the Gang Bill needs to be questioned.

Patriots should call them!
